Candace Perkins earned her master’s degree from Florida State University and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with more than 30 years of experience in the field. Throughout her career, she has developed a depth of clinical wisdom and steady presence that clients consistently find grounding and reassuring.

Candace works collaboratively with psychiatrists and is highly attuned to supporting clients who may benefit from medication as part of their treatment. She understands the importance of integrated care and approaches each case with thoughtfulness and respect for the client’s individual needs.

At the heart of her work is a strong commitment to unconditional positive regard and active listening. Candace creates a therapeutic space where clients feel genuinely heard, valued, and understood. Her compassionate, nonjudgmental approach allows individuals to engage more fully in the therapeutic process and move toward meaningful, lasting change.
