Kelsey is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida who holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology of Law from the University of North Florida (UNF).

She holds several specialty certifications, including Certified Clinical Trauma Professional – Level I & II (CCTP-I & II), Certified Personality Disorder Treatment Provider (C-PD), and Certified Grief Informed Professional (CGP). Kelsey is also a certified Blueline Rescue Clinician, having completed specialized training to work with law enforcement professionals and their families. In addition, she has extensive advanced training in Prolonged Exposure Therapy, nervous system regulation (including mindfulness, Polyvagal Theory, and somatic interventions), law enforcement wellness, and Trauma Management Therapy.

Kelsey’s professional background spans correctional and forensic settings, community mental health, and private practice, providing her with a well-rounded perspective on the unique challenges individuals face. She has experience working with military veterans, active-duty service members, first responders, court-ordered and forensic clients, trauma survivors, and individuals experiencing substance use concerns, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and personality disorders. She provides counseling to individuals, couples, families, adolescents, older adults, and people from all walks of life.

Her passion for serving those who make extraordinary sacrifices for their communities and country led her to specialize in trauma treatment for first responders, active-duty military personnel, veterans, and their spouses. Kelsey understands that trauma can disrupt a person’s sense of balance and is committed to helping clients restore stability, resilience, and hope.

Kelsey believes every individual possesses the capacity for growth and transformation while recognizing that healing involves making space for both joy and suffering. She strives to create a safe, supportive, and compassionate environment where clients feel empowered to explore their inner world, life experiences, and relationships at a pace that feels right for them. She understands that meaningful change takes courage and believes that every person has the potential to heal, grow, and thrive.
