Michelle Martinetti is a National Certified Counselor and received her master’s degrees in both Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Child Life and Family-Centered Care. She approaches therapy through a humanistic and integrative lens, honoring each client as the expert of their own lived experience. Michelle believes that healing happens in relationship—with ourselves, with others, and within the broader communities we belong to—and she is deeply committed to creating a warm, affirming, and inclusive therapeutic space.
Michelle draws from feminist, attachment-based, and relational approaches to support clients in understanding their personal narratives, identifying patterns, and nurturing connection and resilience. Rather than focusing solely on symptom reduction, her work centers holistic growth, meaning making, and liberation. She views therapy as a collaborative, deeply human process rooted in curiosity, compassion, and authenticity. Michelle is trained in CBT, DBT, EFT, Levels 1 and 2 in Gottman Couples Therapy and Accelerated Resolution Therapy.
Michelle has experience working with LGBTQ+ teens and adults, couples, and individuals navigating identity exploration, trauma, life transitions, anxiety, depression, and addiction recovery. She is committed to providing culturally responsive care that respects and celebrates each client’s unique lived experience and social context.
Outside of the therapy space, Michelle enjoys spending time with her three sons, exploring local coffee shops, and is an avid animal lover.
